The core of both CH Cattle and Fredin Brothers business is the purchasing of larger groups of cattle for immediate and/or forward contracting. We are always looking for cattle whether it’s during the summer months or winter. Many have chose forward contracting. In doing this, it helps take risk off of you by getting locked in to a set price which hopefully gets you a guaranteed profit. The destinations of these cattle can vary immensely. Your cattle may find a home anywhere from a farmer feeder in the upper Midwest, to feed yards in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, or Texas.
